Due to the increased risks of exposure during the COVID-19 pandemic, Highlands Montessori is implementing temporary policies to ensure the safety of the students, staff, and families.  As this is an ongoing and rapidly evolving situation, Highlands Montessori reserves the right to change existing and/or create additional policies as needed.

Failure to comply with the following policies will result in an immediate termination of enrollment at Highlands Montessori.


Parents MUST immediately inform Highlands Montessori staff of potential exposures to COVID-19 by parents, guardians, and other household members.


Children and staff will be assessed for signs of illness upon arrival and frequently throughout the day. Parents are responsible for conducting a basic health check of their child(ren) before arriving at school.  Staff will take a temperature check of each child at arrival, and will perform additional health and temperature assessments throughout the day.


Masks are required for staff and children 3 and up regardless of vaccination status

All staff at Highlands Montessori are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless there is a medical reason. If not fully vaccinated staff must provide proof of weekly testing
